'Lujiazui Sex Tape' Chair Already Selling Out
The 'Lujiazui Sex Tape' broke Chinese internet last week before it was thoroughly censored.
The video is still circulating on WeChat, and it was uploaded onto Youtube by Chinese internet star Papi Jiang. Netizens have dissected every possible aspect of the viral video, including the hotel it took place at and the brand of the chair the couple had sex on.
Needless to say, this generated huge publicity for the chair's production company. This boost in popularity caused the Beijing-based Qumei Furniture Group's stock to shoot up to the daily maximum of 10 percent, according to Next Shark.
A similar event happened last year over a sex tape in Uniqlo's changing room. Officials also took it very seriously through social media censorship and arrest of individuals involved. For the 'Lujiazui Sex Tape,' individuals involved in the filming and the spread of it could potentially face arrest as well.
